Due Diligence: Profiling Ms. York
The selection of an executive coach is no trivial matter. As you evaluate whether I may be a good fit for your coaching needs, I’d like to give you some insight into what makes me tick.
Myers-Briggs: INTJ, aka “The Mastermind”
This is supposedly the rarest type for a woman. INTJs are strategic, independent, analytical, and private. They value efficiency and solitude. This type loves mastering systems and long-term planning. An INTJ might be intimidating and struggle with small talk.
I promise I don’t bite. Unless given consent.
Enneagram: 5w4 aka “The Iconoclast”
This type is innovative, pioneering, eccentric, and independent. They are strongly motivated to possess knowledge and understand the world. 5s have an ability to focus deeply and enjoy grappling with complex ideas. Might be perceived as strange, quirky, and detached. A bit of a loner.
Ok, guilty as charged.
Harry Potter House: Ravenclaw
Members of the house of Ravenclaw are similar to their famous founder Rowena Ravenclaw, a beautiful and intelligent witch. They are known for wit, cleverness, intellect, and creativity. Iconoclastic in nature, they celebrate the odd, the eccentric, and the strange.
I’m noticing a theme here.
Big Five (highlights)
Openness (94th percentile): Those high in Openness value intellectual and experiential novelty. They are creative and curious with a deep appreciation for the arts and new ideas. They may live an unconventional lifestyle.
You don’t say.
Extraversion (34th percentile): Those lower in Extraversion tend to be more reserved and prefer to reflect before speaking. they enjoy solitude and may find group activities draining.
It might come as a shock, but Ms. York rolls solo much of the time.
